A Note from Ailis:
This week I wanted to focus on the perks of journalling. I was never great at keeping up with this habit but recently I have found it to be so cathartic!
Journalling
I was inspired to pick up my pen and paper again after recently finding an article that explored how the brain reacts to frequent journalling. It all seemed too good to be true… but for the first time in my life, I can say I am hooked!
One method that kept me coming back for more was finding prompts online. This stopped me from feeling like journalling was a repetitive task and allowed me to explore thoughts and ideas I normally wouldn’t on a busy day. I particularly loved the Instagram @joclub_ for finding my prompts. Every day a new prompt is revealed, and in the comments, you get to discuss these prompts with new friends!
Click the button below and have a look at the journalling article yourself. Maybe you will be inspired too! What do you think about the importance of this habit?
